Upcoming Activities
Yosemite, here we come!
Join us as we hike among the waterfalls
June 1-3, 2012

Every year, this is probably our biggest event, lots of interaction, hiking, great host families to meet, and seeing one of the most beautiful places ever!

We will leave on Friday afternoon, June 1, spend all day Saturday hiking in Yosemite, and return on Sunday.  While we're there, we'll spend Friday & Saturday nights in host homes.  For pics of what to expect, check it out here! (These are from a previous year, with a record for amount of water -- from year to year, we never know what to expect.)

Because of transportation and accommodation limitations, Space will be limited!  This will be a first-to-reply first-to-go opportunity, so let us know as soon as you know what you'll be doing after school ends (we do expect to have a waiting list).  Cost will be $60, +dinner at an all-you-can eat Asian restaurant on Friday as we drive. More specific details will be given as we here back. If you would like to join us, reply here.
Knowing many of you will be graduating, this could be a wonderful adventure to share with visiting family.

The Fourth of July -- America's Freedom Day, a most treasured value to be remembered

Street of Bethlehem, a special Christmas event; Dec 2009

Autumn Ladies Tea; Oct 2009 
A couple times a year, spring and fall, the women get together for a wonderful time together where the ladies can connect in special ways, with food, music, some times arts & crafts, but always valuable sharing -- and of course tea.  For pictures and more details of the IWC, International Women's Connection, visit www.iwomenconnect.org.

Point Lobos Hike; Oct 2009

Welcome Picnic for International Students, 12 Annual; Aug 2009

America's Independence Day; July 4 2009
Joined at a local home, celebrating the day Americans consider as the birth of a nation.  Play outdoor games, eat burgers, learn about our Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and talk about pros & cons of true freedom.

ISI Annual Yosemite Trip; May 2009 - A weekend to remember! 
This is always one of the biggest highlights of the year, spending two nights in host homes, ideally timed right after graduation so that visiting families can hopefully join us.

A fabulous evening celebrating the graduates, with friends and families of the graduates as well as ISI volunteers - a truly memorable evening.

ISI Annual Snow Play Weekend; Feb 2009 - A terrific weekend with lots of fun for all. Thanks to Sierra Bible Church in Sonora, CA for providing all the homestays - a definite treat!

Chinese New Year Celebration; Jan 2009 - An amazing evening! Lots of delicious food (hao che!), friends new and old, with the evening capped off with a fantastic Lion Dance performance. Don't miss the pictures!

Annual Thanksgiving Celebration; Nov 2008 - A memorable evening for all that brought about 150 people together from around the world for a celebration of THANKS!
