 An incredible trip to play in the snow (Friday Feb 26 - Sun Feb 28):  
Come join us for this fun weekend.  We will spend two nights in homes hosted by locals in Sonora in the Sierra foothills. On Saturday we will spend the day at a popular snow park - see pictures from last year at http://isimonterey.smugmug.com/Trips-To-Go-See/Sonora-Snow-Play-Feb-2009/7506867_2t9XP#484724337_xifzD.  The price will be $50 each and include transportation, 2 nights lodging, food, and park admission (family discounts will be considerd).  For the sake of transportation and housing, this will be on a first-to-reply first-to-go basis.  Plan to leave at 3:00 on Friday and return about 6:00 on Sunday.  Reply or ask questions at jsteers@isiwebnet.net.

Street of Bethlehem, a special Christmas event; Dec 2009

Autumn Ladies Tea; Oct 2009 
A couple times a year, spring and fall, the women get together for a wonderful time together where the ladies can connect in special ways, with food, music, some times arts & crafts, but always valuable sharing -- and of course tea.  For pictures and more details of the IWC, International Women's Connection, visit www.iwomenconnect.org.

Point Lobos Hike; Oct 2009

Welcome Picnic for International Students, 12 Annual; Aug 2009

America's Independence Day; July 4 2009
Joined at a local home, celebrating the day Americans consider as the birth of a nation.  Play outdoor games, eat burgers, learn about our Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and talk about pros & cons of true freedom.

ISI Annual Yosemite Trip; May 2009 - A weekend to remember! 
This is always one of the biggest highlights of the year, spending two nights in host homes, ideally timed right after graduation so that visiting families can hopefully join us.

ISI Annual Graduation Gala; May 2009 - Always a highlight!
A fabulous evening celebrating the graduates, with friends and families of the graduates as well as ISI volunteers - a truly memorable evening.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Blast; April 2009 - Great experience for those who went!

ISI Annual Snow Play Weekend; Feb 2009 - A terrific weekend with lots of fun for all. Thanks to Sierra Bible Church in Sonora, CA for providing all the homestays - a definite treat!

Chinese New Year Celebration; Jan 2009 - An amazing evening! Lots of delicious food (hao che!), friends new and old, with the evening capped off with a fantastic Lion Dance performance. Don't miss the pictures!

Day Hike, Soberanes Point; Jan 2009 - Simply outdoor "heaven!"

Annual Thanksgiving Celebration; Nov 2008 - A memorable evening for all that brought about 150 people together from around the world for a celebration of THANKS!
