ISI-Monterey Welcomes You!

ISI is made up of many caring people who have a genuine interest in getting to know you and learning about your culture while sharing their own with you. A few of us hold staff positions with ISI, International Students Inc so you may hear from us more than others.  However, there are many others who join with us and they also look forward to meeting and supporting you. (Please go to Meet our Volunteers to get a fuller picture.)

We are all thrilled to get to know you, to help you with English as well as with various challenges of being in a new place so far from home.  We invite you to say hello:  Go to Talk To Us and send us a quick email to introduce yourself.  You may also make a special request and we will try to respond the best we can.

If you are just now planning your travel in order to study in Monterey, please send all initial inquiries to John & Joyce Steers through Talk To Us.

Picture
John & Joyce have been coming along side international students through ISI-Monterey for over 20 years and John has been on staff with ISI since 2006.  Together, they are actively investing their time, energy and lives into many international students, often even before the students themselves arrive in America. With five grown children, having families of their own, many international students have become just like (grown) sons and daughters to them, remaining in close contact even after leaving Monterey.
